Ricky Adams
Rhythm Guitar, Lead Vocal, Songwriter
Ricky Adams loves the black 1972 "Telecaster" that he brings to the stage; he received a brand new 2007 Telecaster for Valentines Day, but still prefers the older model.
Ricky followed in the footsteps of his father, Travis "Tex" Adams, an accomplished Hill Country singer, songwriter, entertainer. His adopted Grandfather was a World renowned fiddler and musical entertainer, Caeser Massey. His sister, Vicki Adams is a prominent figure in Bandera, and is also a singer-songwriter. Ricky has been singing in bands since he was in high school. He has written and recorded some of his own music and loves to entertain. He has a very diversified musical background, including having performed at Gilley's, and on stage with the likes of Larry Gatlin. He has opened for Asleep At The Wheel, Dion Warwick, Kevin Fowler, and Junior Brown.
Audiences are often shocked by his wide vocal range and varied song list. His pleasure comes from making his audiences dance and sing. This talented band can play almost anything and are known for their audience friendly performances, taking requests and reading the crowd which allows them to leave their audiences always wanting more.
