Hailing from Abbot, Texas, the home of industry Legend, Willie Nelson, Jerry Audley has created a blend of Classic Country with a tough, Southern Rock feel. From the plethora of secular, Pop Country songs that have saturated secular radio, Jerry has managed to create his signature sound of Rockin’, Honky-Tonk music. As Jerry aspires to be the pioneer artist who resurrects the Classic Country genre, and pushes it back into the mainstream, he is already garnering acclaim for his innovative style. In May of 2008, Jerry was privileged to have one of his favorite, radio airplay tracks, Lucky Me Lonely You, receive recognition on The Texas Music Chart. His single not only garnered the top spot on the Texas Music Chart, but it also remained in the number one position for four, straight weeks. The second single off the “Audley Enough” album “If It Aint One Thing, It’s Your Mother” reached top 20 on the Texas Charts, third release ”I Just Want To hold You” raced to the #1 spot and held there for 5 weeks.
Influenced by such industry artists who include George Strait, Merle Haggard, Buck Owens, Gary Stewart and Keith Whitley, in the summer of 2007, Jerry decided to drive his music career at full force, after years of focusing his attention on nurturing his family unit. Once the lead singer in a Rock and Roll band called, Inflite, Jerry’s road to stardom was temporarily blocked during an audition for executives of Mercury- Polygram Records. A final decision was made between Inflite, and the infamous band that would go on to be known across the world as Kiss. Now, working alongside hand selected producer, Paul Osborne, as well as a band comprised of some of the most talented musicians in the business, Jerry Audley finds great pride and success in the release of his most recent, full-fledged, studio LP, Audley Enough. To promote his music to the masses, Jerry performs at an array of concert venues; even taking center stage alongside Legends, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Jerry Jeff Walker, Ray Price, Johnny Bush and John Conlee. As Jerry prepares to entertain audiences at his annual Birthday Jam, as well as Tommy Alverson’s Family Gathering, he is also in production on his debut, music video; a visual illustration of his second, radio single, If It Aint One Thing Its Your Mother. Featured in various periodicals and publications that include The Best in Texas and Tone Audio Magazines, Jerry is receiving industry accolades by garnering nominations for MCTMG 'Artist of The Year', as well as TOSSM Music’s Best Texas/Red Dirt 'Male Vocalist of the Year'.
Ultimately, Jerry Audley wants his music and career to reach a national plateau, where he is given an opportunity to tour and share his records with fans who love and appreciate the Classic, Country sound. Jerry will use his fame and fortune to purchase a ranch for underprivileged and abused children. Through his music and influence, Jerry will be able to lead children in the direction of the Lord; displaying before each of them that the world will open a place of Love and Sanction where they can be safe from Life’s detriments.
