In 2002 a small town kid set out to do what everyone else said could never done. Three albums, two songs in the Top 50 and a hand full of followers later, Houston says he can do anything he wants to do..."that's just the Jim in me!" His dad, a hard working entrepreneur was against the same odds thirty years ago.

Houston explains that his dad taught him very important lessons about life and how it should be approached. To this day it has paved the way for Houston's success. "The way I am is for a reason, being hard headed isn't always a curse. Just God's way of giving strength, maturity, and wisdom to get the mission accomplished. Jeremiah Houston grew up in a small town of 2800 people at most. In 1995 he graduated and became a U.S. Marine stationed in Horno of Camp Pendelton, Ca.

He always knew music was his passion, however life didn't present the opportunity until he had ridden a few bulls, handcuffed alot of bad guys, played football for Sul Ross State and drummed in a college ensemble at South Plains College! It was in Lubbock, Tx where the original band was formed. Many miles and a couple of scars endured before the first break was shown. In 2006 "Leave You Behind" was recorded and produced by JH and Swade Moyer. Scoring a no. 2 song in Germany, and top 40 spot on the Tx Music Chart with "Down In Luckenbach," a song rooted from a trip with a longtime friend to Lukenbach, Tx to watch Pat Green.

Presently Jeremiah Houston & the band are trying to stay above the norm and create music that is different and gratifying to the heart & soul. New single "When" is out now and Houston says he's going to work hard to get this one on the chart as well. Jeremiah Houston Band has become a group of hard rocking, seasoned performers. It would be fair to say he's not going anywhere for a long long time!
