GI Jive is Ian and Sheilagh Hartley. Since 1993 GI Jive has provided record hops for dancing. We play big band swing, rhythm & blues, jump jazz, western swing, boogie and rock and roll. Ian has appeared on local radio shows, has promoted period dance events in Sheffield and Manchester and since 2002 has organised the prestigious Swing Cats Ball at Stockport Town Hall.
