Burgundy was formed in San Antonio, Texas, more than 20 years ago by Zeke Escobedo and his son Mike. The band currently plays at various nightclubs, weddings, festivals and other functions in and around Texas. Burgundy is a country band, but is not limited to country. Zeke plays bass, sings and is the leader of the band. Mike is the lead singer and front man, plays keyboard and lead guitar. Louie also sings lead and harmony and plays rhythm guitar. Dave plays steels and Mickey is the drummer. The band's ability to play such a variety of music is what makes this band so ideal for a wide range of listeners.
