Bruce started singing at the age of 2. His mother was a church pianist and Bruce would accompany her from time to time. By the time he left high school he was a pretty accomplished musician on the saxophone, piano, guitar and bass. He went to Southwest Texas State University for a couple of years and instead of spending his time studying, like he should have, he chased girls and caught a good one named Julie. Thank God - and miraculously - she agreed to marry him. Besides chasing Julie in college, he also managed to improve his technique on the bass guitar, jamming with the likes of several members of George Strait's Ace in the Hole Band at Nephew's in San Marcos. He left college for while, working as a professional musician playing with various bands all over Texas. He finally got a "real" job as a border patrol agent but that prevented him from playing music and having ample time for family life. Bruce has finally found the perfect blend of work, family and music.

He spent quite a bit of time in the backline of several bands, but had always wanted to front his own band, so one thing led to another, and Bruce Hudson and the Most Wanted Band was born. It's his love of good old traditional dance hall music that bought this band together.
