Allen Brown Allen Brown began his singing at the early age of 12 at various Opry Halls, private parties and bar rooms throughout the state of Texas. Brown left his small East Texas home of Gun Barrell City to pursue a lifelong dream of being a singer songwriter. In 2004 Brown moved to Nashville. His goal to write for other artists but after being noticed by several Nashville notables he decided to embrace his passion for singing as well. Brown finds emotion and spiritual uplift in the power of a song. To write a song is a story that Brown wants to share with his fans. To walk out on stage and leave the crowd smiling at the end of the night is the “Ultimate”. Influenced by country greats such as George Strait, Johnny Paycheck, Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, Keith Whitley etc…. Brown has stayed true to his love of “Real Country Music” but has added his own flair that he refers to as “ALLENTUDE”. Brown has opened up for some of Nashville’s finest such as Tanya Tucker, Marshall Tucker, Tommy Allsup, Kevin Sharp, John Anderson and many more. Brown toured throughout many states in the U.S. spanning from Tennessee to North Carolina, Iowa, Louisiana, Arkansas and Texas playing fairs, festivals, rodeos etc…honing his skills. Browns debut album, ”Foolin’ Myself” was produced by the noted Hall of Fame song writer Tommy Barnes(the original Indian Outlaw) and co-produced engineered by the talented Kenny Royster and features songs written by some of Nashville’s finest as well as Brown himself Brown is currently working with a band which includes four other very seasoned players. Donnie Crum (lead guitar/vocals), Doug Payne (drums/vocals), Nate Adams (bass/vocals) and Barry byford(piano). Donnie has played with the likes of Gene Watson , Rusty Weer, Johnny Lee among other legendary Texas artist. Nate has played overseas in Korea in his early days and has opened for Johnny Lee, Gary P Nunn and Deryl Dodd and much more. Doug has been playing drums for over thirty years and has played with many local bands during that time. Barry has played with the likes of David Allen Coe, George jones, Mel Tillis, Conway Twitty and many others.
